Day 01 Fly Addis Ababa to Jinka
After breakfast you will take to airport your flight to Jinka. You will be met upon arrival and drive to turmi to Hamer people. The Hamer they are known for their unique custom of “bull jumping,” which initiates a boy into manhood, practice of body adornment and wearing a multitude of colorful beads. The men of the tribe will often style their hair with clay, creating a sculpture of sorts that is styled with various pigments, mostly red and white, and in smoothing the clay they create very small protruding tube in which they house ostrich feathers from their hunts.

Day 02 Drive Turmi – Karo – Turmi – Jinka
This day you will drive to Murulle where you can find the Karo people. Karo People is very famous for their splendid body decoration, which they paint their bodies and faces with white chalk to prepare for a ceremony. The women scar their chest believing it makes them beautiful. The men’s scars represent an enemy or dangerous animal killed. Visit and proceed to Nyangatom people, 17 km away from the Murulle area. To adore their long and lean bodies, the Nyangatom women wear numerous necklaces and long Skirts from goatskins that are richly decorated. Then back to turmi after lunch you will drive to Ari people, the largest population in the lower omo valley. The women wear skirts from the banana like tree, called Enset are expert in pottery, blacksmith and distillation of traditional Liquor.

Day 03 Drive Jinka – Mago – Jinka and Fly to Addis Ababa
After breakfast at the hotel, take a day excursion to Mago National Park to explore the Mursi village, located 70 km away, dedicating half a day to Mursi culture. Renowned for their large lip plates, Mursi women, similar to the Surma, have various theories behind this practice, including preventing enslavement, protecting against evil spirits, and indicating social status linked to dowry. The Mursi also excel in scarification, using razor blades and camel thorns to create scars that signify social status and achievements, sometimes embedding ash or fly larvae in wounds to promote healing. Afterward, return to Jinka airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.

Day 05 Fly Addis Ababa to Lalibela
After breakfast, you will fly to Lalibela and check into your hotel upon arrival. After lunch, visit the first group of seven rock-hewn churches, including Bet Golgotha, Bet Mika’el, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danagl, and the largest, Bet Medhane Alem, which resembles a Greek temple and features polished stone floors and symbolic graves for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Later, explore Bet Giyorgis, known for its elegance and located on a sloping rock terrace in the village’s southwest.

Day 06 Fly Lalibela to Addis Ababa
In the morning after breakfast you will visit the remaining churches of Lalibela like Bete Gabriel, Bete Marqorios, Bete Emmanuel, and Bete Aba Libanos. Later drive to airport your flight to Addis Ababa.
