Cancellation and Booking Policy

At Aman Ethiopia Tour & Travel, we strive to provide flexibility and customer satisfaction. Our cancellation and booking policy combines standard, promotional, and flexible options to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy

Our Standard Cancellation Policy offers refunds based on how far in advance cancellations are made. For cancellations made 30 days or more before the tour start date, 80% of the total cost will be refunded. If you cancel between 15 and 29 days before the tour start date, 50% will be refunded. Cancellations made 7 to 14 days prior to the tour start date are eligible for a 25% refund, while cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will not qualify for any refund. Certain prepaid services, such as flights, hotel bookings, and permits, may not be refundable due to third-party provider terms.

2. Promotional Cancellation Policy

For those booking under our Promotional Cancellation Policy, we offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the experience starts (local time). This allows clients to make changes without any penalties. However, cancellations made within 24 hours of the experience start time will not be eligible for a refund. Additionally, our “Reserve Now, Pay Later” option enables clients to secure their spot without immediate payment. Full payment must be made at least 24 hours before the experience starts to confirm the booking. Reservations not paid within this timeframe will be automatically canceled.

3. No-Show Policy

In cases where clients fail to appear for their experience without prior notice, our No-Show Policy applies, and no refunds will be issued. Similarly, changes initiated by clients, such as adjustments to dates or participant details, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges if requested within 24 hours of the experience start time.

4. Tour Amendments and Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to amend itineraries or cancel tours in cases of unavoidable circumstances such as political instability or natural disasters. In such instances, clients will be offered either a full refund or an alternative tour of similar value. If a tour requires a minimum number of participants and this requirement is not met, we will notify clients at least 15 days before the tour start date and provide a full refund.

5. Refund Processing

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 14 business days and issued to the original payment method. While we aim to accommodate client needs, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
