Mar 15 Day 1 Addis Ababa Fly To Jinka
Will couch your flight to Jinka and on arrival, you will meet our teams then transfer to your hotel. Later after having some rest you will visit the people of Ari the Ari people, the largest population in the lower Omo valley. Mar 16 Day 2 Drive Jinka – Mago – Jinka – Turmi
Take a day excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi village. The Mursi are one of the exotic ethnic groups in Ethiopia. They live in very low huts made of straw leaves. The women like to wear terra cotta on their enormously stretched lower lips and ear lobes. Drive back to Jinka for lunch. Then proceed to the Turmi where the Hamer people live. Mar 17 Day 3 Excursion to Omorate -Alduba Tribe Markets Then Drive Konso
After having your breakfast, you will have an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanech people ‘people of the Delta’, who lives on the northern shore of Lake Turkana. Visit and drive back to Turmi for lunch then we will be driving to Alduba tribe markets then you will meet around 3 tribes and later we will be driving to Konso and you will visit the Konso, one of the UNESCO sites in Ethiopia know for their terracing. Mar 18 Day 4 Konso Drive to Arba Minch
After having your breakfast you will take a boat cruise on Lake Chamo, the third biggest Lake in Ethiopia. On the Lake, you may have a chance to see the Nile crocodiles, hippos, and different types of birds and later you will have lunch then you will be visiting en route the Doreze village who is an expert in weaving called Shammas. The shape of their house looks Elephant, in order to remember the existence of these animals around the area many years ago. Enset “fake banana” is the staple food for these peoples. Mar 19 Day 5 Arba Minch – Langano
After breakfast drive to Langano and on the way visit the town of Shashemne and you will have a chance of meeting people Rastafarian and their churches with art gallery then later we will be driving to Langano for overnight. Overnight Wabi Shable Langano
Mar 20 Day 6 Drive Langano – Addis Ababa
After breakfast, we will be driving to Addis Ababa then on the way we will see the Rift Valley town of Ziway for lunch, and later we will be driving to Addis. Overnight Sidera international Hotel Addis.
Mar 21 Day 7 Drive Addis – Bahir Dar (Lakeside Town)
After breakfast passing through the wonderful chain mountains and densely tree forest of Mount Entoto then we will be passing the wonderful landscapes of Blue Nile George we will have a stopover at Debre Markos later after lunch we will keep our driving to the next stop of lake Zengena. Mar 22 Day 8 Bahir Dar (Lakeside Town)
After breakfast, you will take a boat cruise on Lake Tana to visit the 14th-century Monastery of Ura Kidane Mihret which is the most famous of the Zege peninsula monasteries. Afternoon, you will drive to the village of Tis Isat to see the Blue Nile falls ((Note that the volume of the water could be minimal because of the construction of the new dam.) Mar 23 Day 9 Gondar-Simien Mountains National Park
After breakfast, the vehicles will be in your hotel and drive to Sankabar the gateway to the Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Meet with guides and prepare for a trek then later we will be back to the town Gondar In the afternoon you will visit the city of Gondar with the drive to the Castles and Churches built by Emperor Fassiladas and his descendants. Proceed to the fascinating Debre Birhan Selassie (The Enlightening of Trinity) with Wonderful murals art, Qusquam Church. Overnight Gondar . Overnight in Gondar plaza Hotel Gondar.
Mar 24 Day 10 Gondar – Lalibela (The Eighth Wonder of the World)
After breakfast we will drive you to the town ‘Eighth wonder of world Heritage’ Lalibela is famous for its underground rock-hewn cathedrals. In the afternoon you will visit the top attractions of Lalibela that will simply stagger you. These churches include Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Mariam, Bete Meskal, Bete Denaghel, Bete Golgotha, Bete Mikael, and Bete Giorgis. Overnight in Cliff edge Hotel Lalibela.
Mar 25 Day 11 Fly Lalibela- Addis – Dire Dawa
Morning you will visit the remaining churches: Bete Gabriel, Bete Marqorios, Bete Emmanuel, and Bete Aba Libanos. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Dire Dawa where you will be met upon arrival and drive to Harar. Harar is a labyrinth of small streets surrounded by old city walls is the fourth holiest city for the Muslim people next to Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem. Its architecture reflects a strong Islamic influence. The sightseeing of Harar will include the market, the French poet –Rimbaud house, the Harari museum, and the tomb of Emir Nur who built the Harar walls known as Jugol. Mar 26 Day 12 Drive Harar – Dire Dawa – Fly Addis
This day you will drive to Dire Dawa passing through Aweday chat market. Upon arrival in Dire Dawa, you will catch your flight back to Addis. Be met upon arrival and transfer to your hotel for day use. In the evening attend a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. Mar 27 Day 13 Addis – Departure
You will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
