Day 1: Arrival & Addis Ababa City Tour

  • Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.

• Late Morning to Afternoon:

  • Visit the National Museum (home to “Lucy” – the 3.2-million-year-old hominid).

  • Explore Holy Trinity Cathedral – resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie.

  • Stop at Ethnological Museum inside Haile Selassie’s former palace.

  • Drive up to Mount Entoto for panoramic views over the city.

• Evening:

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Arba Minch (by flight or drive)

• • Early flight to Arba Minch (or drive, 7-8 hrs through the Rift Valley with scenic stops).

Day 4: Jinka – Mursi Tribe – Turmi

  • Excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe.

    • Famous for lip-plates worn by women and distinctive scarification practices.

  • Drive to Turmi, home of the Hamar people.

    • If lucky, witness a bull-jumping ceremony – a rite of passage for young men.

Day 5: Turmi – Dimeka Market (market day only) – Arba Minch – Addis Ababa (Flight)

  • Begin return drive to Arba Minch.
