8 Days Somaliland Eastern Tour

Day 01: Pick up Hargeisa City Tour

Pick up and transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival time you will explore hargeisa .After a rest you can freely walk around in the city center of hargeisa to get a sense of people and the city.

Day 02:   Drive Hargeisa to Laas Geel – Berbera

In the early morning you will explore hargeisa by visiting the civil war memorial and central markert. After this you will visit laas geel, the most important site rock art in Africa.The vibrant and color and well preserved are estimated to be around ten thousand year old. Drive continues to berbera where you will be taken to your hotel .Here you can hang out on the beach and go to far a swim while the sun goes down. The beach hotel rents  out snorkel diving equipment and there is possibility for a boat ride.

Day 03: Drive Berbera   to Sheikh- Burao

After breakfast you will visit the historic town of berbera. Especially the old quarter of the town with its many ottoman and British architecture is of historic interest.we leave berbera behind and drive to small town of sheikh in the mountains .passing sheikh mountain will be nice experience because of scenic view and pleasant temperature. At the end of the day we will drive further east Burao, the second biggest city in the country.

Day 04: Drive   Burao to Erigavo

After breakfast you will visit In burao you will wander around and explore the city .After this we have a very long drive to Erigavo,the capital of sanaag province.

Day 05: Drive Erigavo to Daallo Mountians –Erigavo

After breakfast you will visit the daallo mountians. Daallo is green paradise of Somaliland with its long thrick forest. The mountains in the region are reaching over 2400 metres.

Day 06: Drive Erigavo to Burao

In this day after breakfast we will have a long drive back burao. Before we leave you will have some leisure time.In burao you will taken to the hotel.

Day 07: Drive Burao to Hargeisa

After breakfast you will drive to capital hargeisa. Depending on the arrival time will explore hargeisa further.
