Day 1: Antananarivo to Antsirabe, 170 kilometers, approximately three hours

On this day, you will be transferred and be driven to Antsirabe if the flight arrival is during the day. You will take the famous road RN7 towards South. On the way, you can see the scenery of the highland with local people working the field in typical Malagasy live style.

If the time allows, you can have an opportunity to visit a foundry of aluminum to make the local cooking pot the very primitive way. Antsirabe, the city of Vichy with the mineral water from the ground, is the second economic city of Madagascar.

Some main industries is in this city so you can have the time to visit to see some art craft as semi-precious stones and broderies. Overnight will be in Antsirabe.

Day 2: Antsirabe to Morondava, 500 kilometers, approximately 11 hours

Today, you will drive to Morondava on the Road N°34 to Menabe region. The ground in this part of the island is very dry and really red.

You will be amazed by the scenery and you will take your lunch in Miandrivazo. You will continue to Morondava. After this long drive, you can relax on the beaches. Overnight will be in Morondava.

Day 3: Morondava

After breakfast, you will drive to Kirindy Forest. Kirindy Forest is 60 kilometers from Morondava on the North with the bumpy road passing by the Baobab Avenue. Kirindy forest is a dry deciduous area where the famous Fossa lives.

The Fossa is a solitary and elusive predator of the lemur and other animals. This kind of animal can climb on trees, jump, and run fast. Fossas were the villains in the animated film Madagascar.

The place is also famous for its smallest lemur on the Earth called Madame Berth Mouse Lemur. Other animals can be seen such as birds and reptile. After the visit, you will drive back to Morondava and stop to Baobab Avenue for the sunset viewing then drive to the hotel. Overnight will be in Morondava.

Day 4: Morondava to Antsirabe

After breakfast, you will drive back to Antsirabe.

Day 5: Antsirabe to Andasibe, 310 kilometers

Today, you will drive to Andasibe National park to the East side of the country. Halfway there, you will have a stop to the reptile farm to see some species of chameleons, tenrek, frogs, and snakes.

Upon your arrival to Andasibe, you will be accompanied by a local guide for the night walk through the forest. It is an occasion to see some nocturnal species of lemur and chameleon. Overnight will be in Andasibe.

Day 6: Visit Andasibe National Park

After breakfast with your private local guide, you will go for a visit to the park. The park of Andasibe is a rainforest very famous for the biodiversity of the fauna and the flora. This rainforest is where the largest lemur called Indri-Indri lives.

Some others species of lemurs birds can be seen during your half-day visit. After the visit, you will go for lunch and in the afternoon you will visit the Island of Lemur where you can have an occasion to see and touch the lemur.

Some species of lemur can be seen on this island are the Eastern Bamboo Lemur, Common Brown Lemur, and the Black and White Ruffed Lemur. Overnight will be in Andasibe.

Day 7: Andasibe to Antananarivo, 135 kilometers, approximately three hours

After breakfast, you will drive back to the city. If the time allows, you will visit a souvenir market before your transfer to the airport.
